What To Expect

Attending a new church can be a daunting experience. You might be wondering what to expect, what do I wear, where do I park, are there activities for my kids, and many other questions. Our FAQ section is meant to be a resource for you so you can know what to expect and feel as comfortable as possible when you worship with us at Trinity. Where are you located?

Where shall I park?

There is a parking lot at the rear of the Church and there is ample street parking.

What time should I arrive for church?

Our worship service starts at 9:30 am, so we suggest you come just a little bit earlier. There is a time of fellowship with coffee and treats immediately following the worship service. We invite all to stay and enjoy a time of friendship.

Starting on November 2nd, we will begin our worship service at 10:00 a.m. Coffee Hour will follow immediately after the worship service.

How long is the church service?

Our services generally run about an hour with a Coffee-Hour refreshment time afterward for those who would like to stay and socialize with other members.

Can I receive Communion if I’m not a member?

Yes, United Methodists invite all who wish, to receive the elements of communion.

Are you handicap accessible?

Yes. From the parking lot one will find handicap parking and the door is street level. There is a lift just off the hall to the right when you enter through the parking lot door.

What should I wear?

God doesn’t have a dress code and neither do we. You’re welcome to wear whatever feels most comfortable and appropriate to you. You may want to bring a sweater or light jacket since there is no temperature setting that is right for everyone.

What about my children?

We have a nursery for children up to four and Sunday School following the Mini Message for all children at about 9:45 a.m. for those children from kindergarten to High School.

Our Sunday school will begin at 10:15 a.m. starting November 2nd for children of all ages.

Will I have to say anything or sign anything?

You will not be put ”on the spot”, singled out or embarrassed. We invite our visitors to sign our guest book, but this is not required.
